Days of thanks: Rolling along

Living with three active kids in the ‘burbs results in a lot of drive time.  Much of that time is spent going back and forth to school, sports practices and events, and the grocery … because all those sports make them very hungry.

Thus, it’s important to have reliable transportation.  We were without my husband’s car for several days a couple of months ago, and the logistics were difficult to get everyone where they were supposed to be with only one vehicle.

So today I’m thankful for our two vehicles – and for safety while we’re driving them.  The reason we were without my husband’s car was because it was damaged in an accident.  But thankfully nobody was seriously injured.

There’s so much that can go wrong on the road.  I’m grateful for good, safe transportation that gets us around to all the places we need to go.
